The TB

This is the medallion portion of the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal. I received this medal back when I was in the Marines. I am sending it out in hopes of attracting my fellow former Marines who are GeoCachers to join or support MAGC. Visit the site at www.militarycache.org

After some bad weather and failed attempts we have placed the travel bug in the hands of Ranger Matt at Bear Head Lake State Park in Northern Minnesota. We hope to watch it as it continues its journey!

Picked up at Banning State Park. We have many family and friends in service and retired. We plan to bring with us on our trip up the North Shore. Leaving today and will log again when we drop it. We currently reside in Grand Rapids, MN.

Grandfather served in WWI, Dad served in WWII, brother-in-law served in early 60's in Germany, co-workers served in Iraq. We are on a long geocaching weekend to Brainerd area and had two memorial caches on our list of caches to visit. One in Zimmerman and the other in Pequot Lakes. The littlest one with us heard about Great-grandpa Erv and Grandpa Jerry serving in the Army. Thanks for putting the TB out there to share we will move it along shortly.

We had a great time in the spider lake area even though the little man crashed his bike HARD, dad lost a chain on his bike, and I (mom) cut my finger while making supper! :)
