About This Item

Gemini Coin

The rules for the Zodiac Coin Contest are posted on GodinDraak’s profile page (Click Here) where you can check on your fellow competitior's progress. Please note, this contest was created so you can have some fun as you compete in a contest while geocachng. We wanted this one to be more relaxing as everybody chooses when they want to accomplish their goals. And remember, just because you came in late to the game, doesn't mean you won't win something!

When we checked on this coin at the cache it was last placed in, we found that it had been muggled and the container was replaced, so it's gone (that's the 2nd one now). We also discovered that Phetch had placed the horoscope and her personal picture of the coin drop on the geocache's web page, instead of here on the coin's page. We'll give her a "First-Timer Mistake" credit for the effort, but we won't be able to do it for the next coin. Please note that the rules do state that the horoscope and picture should be posted on the geocoin's web page. It makes me wonder what the geocache owners think about these strange posts on their web page...

As an FYI, we put the scores for the latest two competitors up on our profile to show them how the scoring is done and we have sent both an email regarding what needs to be done to complete their tasks. If the horoscope isn't posted by Biblet, and the pic/horoscope isn't posted by Phetch, preferably by tomorrow night, it is unfortunate but their scores will have to be 'pulled back' until these items are posted. Thanks for your understanding.

Picked this up thinking it looked like fun-- am a little befuddled by the scoring etc, but am on my way to drop off elsewhere in the neighborhood.

Not good for me! But you could be out there hunting one geocache (or in our case a coin) in two days at a time. Start before midnight and find the coin after midnight. You could also do this in two years together. Start at New Years eve and find the coin on New Years day the next year. COOL!!
