About This Item

My dad spent ten years (1975-85)working on the Trans Alaskan Pipeline as a welder. He sent me letters about artic foxes, grizzly bears, and the frigid cold. His hard work payed off and he provided his family with alot. I was able to go to college and become a teacher. I would love for our whole family to travel to Alaska but at the moment that is just a dream. George is traveling for us. I hope he makes it.

I have had a TB with me WAY TOO LONG and I am sorry that I have not logged GEORGE in sooner. I am dropping him off here for a moment and then taking him with me on a trip to get him closer to his destination - LOUISAINA!

Found this guy frozen into a Steel Pipe in Prudhoe Bay. I liberated him and I will start his journey South. First I will attempt to join him up with his original paperwork found by 6cachehunters.

Nothing better than heading home!
