Halford, your friendy, neighborhood Halfogre

Halford Halfogre is a friendly monster. He loves kids, cats and dogs, (not to eat!) He has a taste for pasta and clam sauce. He also likes Snapple and Mocha Lattes. He enjoys Classical and Jazz.

He moved to Florida a couple of centuries ago for the sun, beaches, and beautiful gators (the scaly reptillian kind!) When he's not travelling about he lives in a nice, dry, comfortable little cave (complete with jacuzzi, water bed, and a large screen tv with surround sound) in the side of a small hill near the St. Johns River.

Over the past two years he has travelled all over the US, but now he wants to travel Europe. Thirty-one years ago he visited a beautiful place in Germany, near the Austrian border called Hintersee. He'd like to go there again.

Along the way Halford would like to see as many different places as he can. If you can take pictures for his friends and family to see that would be great!

Please be sure to log Halford's travels for them. (He's Mama's baby! She wants to keep an eye on him!)

Eventually Halford will want to return to Central Florida, tho, as he has a pretty little gator girlfriend waiting a bit impatiently for him.

Picked this bug up at the event in Sacramento, CA. This is Bug #947 we have seen. Will take it home to San Jose, CA to add an information tag with the bug's name, current goal, owner's name. release date and place of origin. It will be printed on waterproof paper, laminated, an eyelet added for extra strength and attached to the bug. We will then send in on its way. Thanks for putting this bug out so we could find it!
