Herbie would like to travel all over the place visiting many, many caches. Along the way he would like to, being a replica of the original Herbie the Love Bug, meet other Herbies (both scale models and life-size replicas). He knows you are out there! If in his travels Herbie has the chance to be pictured with other replicas that would be fantastic. His secondary goal is to visit any Herbie the Love Bug fan club gatherings.
Herbie the Travel Bug Bug was custom-made by Mr. SeeKPeeKRs. At the time that he was constructed, there wasn't a commerical diecast available and Mr. SeeKPeeKRs needed one for a project he was working on. Mr. SeeKPeeKRs used a regular VW Bug diecast. He painted it white and then added special Herbie decals purchased online.
