Very large coin with a lot of heft. 2 inches 4.1 mm thick and 39 grams gold. 400 coins minted. Available in other metal/enamel colors. Dark green color with a rotating center. The color and metal combination is excellent. The rotating center allows letters to align with runes for decyphering various messages. The edge work and the letters/runes are raised gold metal. The reverse has a lizard and script that reads "The Lizardtoadz" in matte yellow enamel. Ther is also an inscription that reads "thecachingplace.com".There is a "lizard" version of a similar letter to letter decypher coin. Early functioning decription coin. Excellent show coin.
Info on the coin: For the ToadZ coin you will encrypt a message by finding each letter of the message in the outer wheel and finding the corresponding symbol in the inner wheel. You can encrypt messages by using a simple Caesar which shifts the alphabet any number of letters to create a cypher. By pointing the Toad's branch at any of the 25 letters not including A you can create a variety of cyphers.
So many of my trackables have been muggled that I only release my GCs as virtuals. If you do not approve of this, please leave it in the cache for a cacher who understands. Thanks. AR

Thanks to the 2023 Christmas Day blizzard my daughter, JMVonFange, was delayed in heading home so we spent the bonus time together comparing our caching statistics including trackables discovered and looking through our geocaching pictures. JM has discovered significantly more trackables that I have mainly because while we were staying home during the pandemic she spent time online and spotted numerous TBs that were being shared virtually. After looking at the TB page for each TB that she discovered that I didn't, I found that a number of TB Codes necessary to discover the trackable were included on the TB Page itself or intentionally or as a spoiler in the photo gallery. Sometimes there was an attempt to obsure or hide the TB Code that was not entirely successful making it fairly easy to determine the TB Code needed to discover the travel bug.
