Current Goal

The mission of this coin is to travel the world and have it's picture taken at fire stations and firefighter memorials around the globe. For anyone who can get a promotional item, including but not limited to, department t-shirts (2xl), patches, cups, ect. and sends them to the address below will receive something comparable back from our fire department. Please post all pictures online so that I can print them off and scrapbook them for my husband.

I like this coin’s gift exchange goal. I’ve handled a lot of coins and TBs, and this is first one I’ve encountered with such a goal. I dropped by the Friday Fish Fry at the local fire department and managed to stir up some interest. There’s a patch headed your way, and here’s some pictures from the fire hall . . . .

    • Engine Number One Dravosburg's Fire Hall Number One's Engine Number One
    • Gear In Readiness Calm for the moment - but ready for action.
    • Some Of Our Firefighters Some of the crew takes a quick break from the Fish Fry to display the exchange patch and the geocoin.
    • Engine Number Two This add-on holds the other engine.
    • It's a Pittsburgh Thing Many fire departments have a fish fry every Friday during Lent. The standard fair is a huge slab of fish - ideally a foot long - on a fresh hoagie bun. Here's the Dravosburg Hall preparing for the evening rush.

Sorry it took me so long to log this coin into my account. Had alot going on with our move. Your coin is safe and sound with us in North Carolina. Were taking it to the ocean tomorrow and maybe get a chance to photograph it at a fire station.
