Pia's little friend has been lost. When I went to the shelf where she had been waiting for us to find a big enough cache to accommodate her, she had disappeared. I have written the owner, offering to purchase a replacement if the owner can supply a substitute dog tag, but I have had no response. I apologize for the loss.

We found it in the woods, where it might have met other bears, but not grizzlies, and we have brought it down to Phoenix to catch a ride for the next stage of its journey to Yellowstone. We'll drop it in a new cache at the earliest opportunity. Good luck!
