The fox sighting was the highlight as, judging from the empties, the hiding spot appears to be a drinking destination.

Fished out a pen - but it wasn't the cache. Luckily, I'm stubborn enough not to quit until I finally spotted the bugger.

Ha! While logging my prior finds of the day, I noticed this new green blip on my map. To the Cache Mobile! Overthought it because I missed seeing the cache in selfie-mode on my first pass. A second visual inspection netted this interesting MKH. My annual FTF is now out of the way.

It was incumbent on me to come north to visit the reincarnation of my old cache. Had to traipse around the back of the barn to GZ rather then try to navigate around the barrier the town has created atop the stone wall.

The tracks of the two prior finders are interesting, one went counterclockwise and one went clockwise on their loop hikes. GPS pointed me true and the coords for all the hides were solid.

Neither saw nor encountered another human being or animal (plenty of evidence of animals though) on this loop. Cache hunts should always be this nice and peaceful.

When i see the hint "Hanging" I now instinctively start looking up 20-30 feet in the air. Took a little circling around but that neon blue definitely stood out.

Quick find as I followed the tracks. Had to play a little hockey to get the cache out of its hidey hole. Worst park of winter caching is taking your gloves off to sign in and put the cache back together. It's worth it as skeeters, ticks, PI, gnats and other annoyances are happily absent.
