Current Goal

Everest, (or Chomolangma as he's otherwise known), would like to have his photo taken from the top of mountains and hills, staying in the North of England until the end of 2006.

From January 2007 onwards he would like to travel the rest of the UK, including Snowdon, Ben Nevis and Scafell Pike.

About This Item

Seven Summit GeoCoin - Mount Everest

This GeoCoin has been specially imported for the benefit of GeoCachers in the UK, especially the North East. We understand that these coins are often perceived as collectable, but please do not keep him as it spoils it for other cachers.

The rules of the game are up to the individual, but we feel swapping tracking numbers by email to get the logo isn't really part of caching, so we'd prefer it if you'd only log our coins if you've actually seen them in person.

Thanks!

Mount Everest is also known as Chomolangma in Tibetan, which means "Mother of the Universe" and Sagarmatha in Sanscrity, which means "Forehead of the Sky".

Pleased to have picked up this genuine Seven Summits Geocoin,so much better than the virtual coins.
At the momment he is pouring over my collection of wainwright books, looking at all the mountain drawings and trying to decide on which one to visit next,I did suggest my cache on Scafell, but he declined that one as it doesent get that many visitors,so toying with the idea of one of the Coniston fell caches.
