Current Goal

To travel to the cities (or countries if there are no caches in the city) where the Sortland Mystery books are based. The coin will start in London* and end in Oslo and hopefully will travel via Venice, Luxor, Ankor, New York, Sydney, Paris, Barcelona and Bergen. (* indicates the places already visited. See also the description or logs to see where it has already been)

Geocaching is all about History - Mystery - Adventure - Leisure. This coin is going on the trail of mysteries. An award winning Norwegian author called Bjørn Sortland has written a series of childrens mystery books that Anne Cathrine, age 11, the coin's owner, reads enthusiastically.

  • 2010 - Stavanger Mystery

The coin aims to visit all of the places where the mysteries are based (or at least the countries) starting in London in October 2009 and ending up in Oslo some time in the future.

Feel free to just take it on holiday and take some pictures for the log if you travel to one of the cities where there are no caches or give it to a friend or family member to take with them. While you are at it tell them all about Geocaching and get them involved.
