To visit roller coasters of wood or steel and collect photos, facts, and rider stories about them.
“Coaster Coin” is a 2005 Gold TN Geocoin on a mission to visit roller coasters of wood or steel. He prefers to visit “real” roller coasters since video, virtual or VR rides make him motion sick, but real roller coasters are no problem. I'd love to see logs that include photos of the roller coaster, interesting facts about the roller coaster (max. speed, max. height, number of inversions, etc.), and what you felt about the ride (bumpy, smooth, a particularly scary drop, best you've ever ridden, etc.). If possible include the coordinates for the roller coaster. But if you happen to be without a GPS let me know the city, state, and amusement park where the roller coaster is located. If you take “Coaster Coin” along for the ride, be sure he does not fall out of your pocket during any loop-dee-loops! After 12/31/2006 “Coaster Coin” wants to retire to Chattanooga, TN (e.g., to cache GCRNA4 if it’s still active)
