My, the trees have certainly grown in the last 5 years. I'm happy the drought is finally over.

Plenty of green spotted marsh frogs around... making a sound at night like two rocks colliding. Clack!

It's a good place for the Gladiator to start an Australian adventure.

  • All sorts of Eucalypt. Growing nicely.

A short story. Look at the photo first.

On the way back to the hotel after a morning's geocaching, the gladiator and I came across this sign at a metro train station.

Hmm. Brown-outs must a problem.

When I showed the photo and mentioned the problem with Delhi brownouts over a team dinner, Michelle (a work colleague) laughed so hard she cried. Tears streaming down her face. Later, my father laughed so hard he had a coughing fit. So, careful with the photo.

And, when in Delhi... keep your distance.

  • In Delhi: Stand well clear in case of brownout
  • Michelle laughed so hard, she cried
Retrieve It from a Cache 3/10/2011 bearsleys retrieved it from Deer Park India   Visit Log

I took a morning out from a work trip to explore some of Delhi, and introduce geocaching to a friend. Delhi is an awesome place to go exploring. So many ruins!

Deer park is a fascinating historic area, 700 year old ruins scattered around. Silly me, at GZ I crawled into a thorny area, and had a lot of trouble backing out. Luckily, after scratching our heads, we located the cache in a much more sensible spot.

"What's this?" says Wai Chee. Geocaching, what a curious hobby. Took the Gladiator to see the sights and move onto a different country.

Cheers from Andy of Team Bearsleys (Australia)
