Mid to large size coin with heft. Unusual shape. This coin is oval and has design aspects that extend beyond the edge of the oval. The front has 3-D that is restricted to line and edge work. The enamel is matte and translucent. The design is of a modern art style landscape with the top of the mountain being "eyes" of a frog. There is nice background metal work that can be seen benieth the enamel. The reverse has a background of translucent green enamel. The frog "eyes' continue on the reverse with more of the frog's head visible in the design. The colors are pastel and differnt. The 3-D in the medallion is flush with the enamel work. The script reads "tadpole379, Climb the mountains and get their good tidings natures peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves. John Muir". Good coin. -------- info on coin: BN with hard enamel = 130, BN with translucent enamel = 130, gold mixed hard and translucent enamels = 20, Nickel mixed hard and translucent enamels = 20 minted. This is the gold with mixed enamel-------So many of my trackables have been muggled that I only release new geocoins as virtuals. If you do not approve, please leave it in the cache for a cacher who understands. Thanks. KR

Thanks to the 2023 Christmas Day blizzard my daughter, JMVonFange, was delayed in heading home so we spent the bonus time together comparing our caching statistics including trackables discovered and looking through our geocaching pictures. JM has discovered significantly more trackables that I have mainly because while we were staying home during the pandemic she spent time online and spotted numerous TBs that were being shared virtually on various social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, etc. Thankfully, she still had a few notes that helped guide my search for the same trackables that she had already discovered. After looking at the TB page for each of the TBs that she had discovered, I found that a large number all belonged to several individuals and sent a message to them individually inquiring about permission to log their trackables. This travel bug was on the list that you shared with me.

What an exceptionally large, but especially beautiful collection of coins and travel bugs are in this life work / project
I admire the work of making copies of it and sending them around
You gave me the idea: I also made this week a copy of 10 coins to let them travel in the coming weeks
Very nice specimens and interesting pages
