The journey of the replica coin is now completed and the last finder is asked to remove it from circulation.
The winner of the actual coin is TomandSiegi.
This replica of a Groundspeak Volunteer Geocoin was available for circulation in New Hampshire to allow as many geocachers a chance to log it as possible. In December, the name of each cacher in New Hampshire who has logged the replica coin was entered in a drawing to receive the actual coin. The winner may hold the actual coin as a souvenir or use it for trading. One ground rule: The actual coin is not to be listed for sale or sold.
Please do not give the coin tracking number to anyone who has not actually seen this item.
The original owner of this precious coin was GPSfun, and here follows the original description when he sent the coin traveling around in New Hampshire:
"In December of 2005, Groundspeak created a thank you coin for their volunteers. As one of the volunteers, I am aware that I would have nothing to do were it not for the geocachers in the states I review, so I am making one of my coins available for circulation in New Hampshire. Actually, this is a replica of the coin, and has been made for moving from cache to cache; this is to prevent the loss of the coin to someone who might want it for their personal collection. Please do not give the coin tracking number to anyone who has not actually seen this item."
I was very lucky to benefit from GPSfun's generosity and to be the new owner of the coin. It will stay here with me in my new home but will remain available for discovery.

Where would our beloved sport of gecaching be without GPSfun AND ALL THE OTHER WONDERFUL VOLUNTEERS who are there for us?
I received this coin just in time for Christmas, and it will have a prominent place on one of the as yet undecorated walls of my new home. Sorry Folks, no trading, and THANK YOU GPSfun 😁
