I come from Hadleigh in Essex. I wish to travel to as many places starting with 'H' as possible. Hadleigh is a small town between Benfleet and Leigh in South East Essex. Hadleigh has a Norman Church and the remains of a Norman Castle. Which was painted in 1829 by John Constable.The first Salvation Army colnoy was founded in 1891 by General Booth. Bringing things right upto date, Hadleigh will be the venue for the mountain biking in the 2012 Olympics (who said Essex is flat). It is a great area for Geocaching with 59 caches within 2 miles of the center. Many of which are in Hadleigh Country Park, with its views over the Thames Estuary. Please tell me about your 'H's.I would like to return to Hadleigh,Essex for the 2012 Olympics. As the Olympics are now over I would like to keep travelling. Matbe to countries that have hosted the Olympics. Thank You.
