I am placing this travel bug on Chinese New Year, 2010.
The goal is for it to travel to China. Any other adventures along the way are welcome.
This travel bug is dedicated to my Mom and Dad. They immigrated from the Toisan area of China in the 1940's and settled in Los Angeles. My brothers and I grew up hearing many stories of the old days in the village. In 1987, I was lucky enough to join 20 of my aunts, uncles, cousins and Mom on a group tour of China. It was on this trip that I was able to go the village that I had heard so much about. Many of the aunts and uncles and Mom and Dad have since passed away, but the memories of that trip will always be with me.
