Help me. I am Sudsbug the Beer Hunter. My owner Sudsman has sent me on a quest to seek quality craft brews nationwide. After a great tour I would like to return to Portland Oregon to the Brewers Festival.

About This Item

Sudsbug the Beer Hunting Travel Bug is setting out on a great journey. Sudsbug is a commemoritive cup from the Oregon Brewers Festival and has been used to contain only the best Beer. Please take me to a local brewery for a pint. Post a photo of the event or post a brew review. Please keep me moving as Seven days without beer makes one weak.
The posts of reviews could provide a tasting trail for fellow beer hunters.

  • Tycho and Sudsbug at Stone Brewing Co. I kept this special travel bug too long, but for good reason. Last week, I hosted an event at Stone Brewing Co. in North San Diego County and brought the TB along. This picture shows Sudsbug full of Ruination Ale at the brewery's tasting room. Great stuff!!! 

Stone was rated the #1 brewery in America for 2003 by Beer Advocate (www.beeradvocate.com) and Rate Beer (www.ratebeer.com). This TB now has the same cocky edge to it that Stone's Arrogant Bastard Ale does.

We found this dry, dry beer stein while walking the course at Golf Ball Hill. I had to have a Green Flash pale ale after the less than strenous hike home from the golf course

Took the Sudsbug with me golfing in Encinitas yesterday. What a great place. Lots of trails winding all around the golf course. We stopped into the 19th hole and had a brew before we dropped him off at the Golf Ball Hill cache. The view is awesone even though it was really hazy. Thanks for the fun.

Found the Sudsbug this morning. Unfortunately, all I have at home is Miller Lite and I do not feel right drinking such a beer as this out of a fine thing such as the Sudsbug. I will try and get some good stuff at the Murrieta Pizza and Brewing company over off of Murrieta Hot Springs. They have some good stuff and it is local, so it will go down nice and smooth.

found this with boocow and nesicow after a nice hike around lake cuyamaca, california--one of the sites of the devastating san diego area fires of a couple of months ago. will tip back a speights new zealand brew with him tonight and try and look for some local micro brews this week with him.
