Current Goal

The "Enlightened One" would like to spread enlightenment to all those willing to accept it. I have now returned from my volunteer work overseas so I missed meeting up with him over there. Wherever the forces may take EO is where he will go.

About This Item

The Enlightened One

While Philadelphia is the "City of Brotherly Love" the "Enlightened One" feels that he has done enough for the time being here. He is now eager to enrich the lives of others across the US and the world if possible. However, before he returns to Philly to finish what he has started he has been charged with playing a sort of alphabet soup. He must prove his presence in a city, town, mountain, park, etc... that begins with every letter of the alphabet just to cover all bases. As of now there is no set time that he must return to Philly, but he will be notified as need arises. Please help him in his quest as I am sure he would like to offer you some enlightenment and feel free to take his picture because he loves visitng new places and would like to remember them

Picked up the Enlightened One at Salem, OR. I first saw him several months ago at Lincoln City and wondered if we'd ever find him in a cache. We will get him moving on for more adventure.

The Enlightened One is about to make a trip to Hawaii!!! Hopefully, he can make some new friends there and do some serious "enlightening" along the way. Watch for his placement in the a couple weeks. In the meantime, he's going to sit on our mantle to watch over things...

UPDATE - 5/1/2004 --- Well, the Enlightened One actually did go to Hawaii, but due to unforeseen circumstances, we weren't able to get him placed, so we've uploaded a couple pictures as proof. Since he had to return to the mainland, we have plans to put him in brand new cache located in a place that we think is equally as beautiful right here in Oregon. Until then, he keeps us calm, cool and enlightened.

UPDATE - 5/31/2004 --- Well, we finally placed the Enlightened One in our new cache, The Frogs Life (GCJJXZ). Not where we had intended, but it's time he moved on - and he did get that cool trip to Hawaii...
