[ENG] Land of people rooted in bullfighting traditions whose origin is lost in the mists of time, the Ribatejo is a destination that will like to find out ... the horse. It is in the fertile marshlands of the Ribatejo region that grows wild bull, still in the custody of campinos wearing the typical costumes gaudy hats. They are hard lives who taught men the courage of bullfighting and the handle, two arts that remain vivid in the region. This is also a privileged space of purebred Lusitano horse, animal noble and proud posture, intelligent and docile, who lives in full freedom in the fields and pastures. There is no better way to know in depth the experience of these people, closely related to pigs, which a horse ride filled with adventure. It is an excellent proposal for a mini-vacation, if you like outdoors and any activity taking advantage of the ideal weather that sits in these parts. Alternatively, catch a bullock fighting - participate if you dare! - Or the Portuguese bullfighting, ancient art by which the nobility was training horses for war and still today one of the most genuine Portuguese traditions. The Company Lezírias, the largest farm animal husbandry and forestry in the country, is an excellent place to start. Besides seeing the horses in the Stud Silver Arm, have lunch in the restaurant and take the children to School Farm, where the young learn to make bread and a closer contact with the rural world. Missed are also the visits to the fair and Golegã of Alpiarça.
