Current Goal

Would love to see this guy returned to New York!

Visit the facebook page! FlagstoneFugitive and check out this cameo in Groundspeak's 20 unforgettable geocache destinations in 40 seconds. And read the news when the university finally discovered one of their bricks was missing on their webpage: Retired Purchase Brick on World Tour

A HUGE thank you to Pitt Monqui who carried this beast all the way to the UK on an amazing adventure. The pictures are awesome, so awesome that the brick has it's own place on Facebook. And also to Rankku for moving the brick to Australia! Please keep posting shots! And remember, the beast does not actually have to go in a cache, it can sit outside the box if it won't get muggled or lost.

Thank you to all you AWESOME folks who spotted me at GW! And a bigger thanks to the folks who thought to bring me there and move me on my way afterwords!!!!! Inspired by a song called “I can’t break away” by Big Pig, “…All my life I’ve wanted to fly but I don’t have the wings…” I’ve decided to take off before they get rid of me… I’m gonna travel the world and see my ancestors. I want to see castles, Cathedrals…. Oh! The Great Wall of China even! What a dream… If you can find it in your heart to hide me near some caches where I may be found and moved again…that would be great. If you take some pictures of me with some famous ancestors that would be even better! A lot to ask, yes… but won’t we have fun! Feel free to sign me and add stickers or whatever!

About This Item

Hanging with rock stars...

I was placed with many friends circa 1971 at Purchase College, State University of New York. The Master Architect, Edward Larrabee Barnes, had plans which called for “a city within the country” where almost all the buildings were built within a great open space. Times have changed. My friends and I are being retired one by one as we are no longer needed and a new design is in construction as you read this…

Dear humans of the Conservatory of Music at Purchase College, I'm at the The Oslo Opera House today.

This where the folks of The Norwegian National Opera and Ballet make their magic happen. I like it.

That is all.

still listed as in the cache but spotted in the hands of a geocahcer in another country... I'm a little worried. Perhaps whoever has it could log the removal from the cache?

Seen in the hands of the currently carrier ... as we found a cache together.

The Flagstone Fugitive has absconded again! I thought I'd see how far it could travel before being spotted or noticed missing before actually owning up to aiding and abetting - we made it about a week.

Oh Vienna! (Means nothing to me...)

  • Gloriette - Schloss Schönbrunn in Vienna
  • Schloss Schönbrunn - Vienna
  • View from GZ at the Neptune Fountain. Sadly it wasn't very "fountain-y" because they drain all the water during the winter...

That fact that Pitt Monqui showed up again... does not surprise me in the least. Good Sir, you may not drop that bug ever again... unless it's somewhere on the East coast of the US.
