red Volkswagen Beetle "mini-a-ture" with a bolt pin attached through it's vertical center and the TB tag cabled into the pin's end.

The "Ladybug doppelgänger" was launched on March 26th, 2012. Doppelgänger's launching occurred one year after ScrappyDooPup named his red 2008 VW Beetle as the real Ladybug, which transports Scrappy, Scooby Drew, and Monhina on their geocaching excursions. The Ladybug TB was "dipped" into each cache's inventory to create a history and map of their journeys. With this doppelgänger assuming Ladybug's tracking number, the TB map will be expanded to show the TB's placement around the world.

Scrappy has given Ladybug a new number from a GXProxy Bug Racing trackable (which is Ladybug's alter-ego) and includes a distinctive icon.

Before Ladybug's debut, Scrappy's geo-car was a 2002 VW Beetle Turbo Sport, named Junebug. You can still see some of Junebug's photos in this gallery. Junebug's original TB launch date was Groundhog Day 2010.
