Glimmer Sunset Ducky started out as a Team-Ducky signature item, (D25-79) their 25th TD ducky, and was placed in their 79th find, Scenic Overlook (GC1W331), in Glimmerglass State Park near Cooperstown, NY, on October 19, 2009.
November 11, 2009, she was found by avid TD Duck Hunter, GPSBarb; who added Glimmer Sunset Ducky to her growing collection.
As a birthday present for UU Jester of Team-Ducky, GPSBarb transformed Glimmerglass Sunset Ducky into a Traveling Duck adding to the original duck a TB choker and a TD Logo adorned keychain. (GPSBarb found all of these components in caches.) Glimmer Sunset Ducky has been added to the TD team of Traveling Ducks.

I found this original Team-Ducky "Glimmer Sunset Ducky" in Glimmerglass State Park, Nov. 9, 2009. I love to collect Team-Ducky Ducks, they have become quite the catch. Glimmer Sunset Ducky is one of my favorite of their ducks; one because she is beautiful and two because I live on Otsego Lake (otherwise known as Glimmerglass, as referenced in the ducks name). Long story short, I decided a good way to pay tribute to someone is to give them something that is special to yourself and special to them. So, I made a TB with "Glimmer Sunset Ducky" and gave it to UU Jester for his 40th birthday. Happy Birthday Craig. May the TB travel far and travel safe and see lots of this wonderful world of ours - we can travel vicariously with her.
