About This Item

This traveling frog has been released in honor of our daughter Erin "Dewberry" and will help her learn about North America as he travels throughout the 49 continental states, Canada and Mexico. (I know there are 50 states, but I thought Hawaii might be too long a jump for him). Once he's completed his journey, please make a note and we will let you know how to return him to his special lily pad in our fishpond.

We retrieved Dewberrys Traveling Frog from the Bats in your Belfry cache and brought it about 300 miles South to A Little Bit Of Paradise cache. It is on the former property of a 1920s millonaire who built a resort and spring water bottling plant around the spring. All that remains standing is the springhouse which is open to the public on this Wisconsin DNR property.

  • PapaGeo This is where the deberry TB is located now. It is an old abandoned mine that is home to many bats. There are places to sit and watch the bats as they fly out for the nightime feed.
