This travel bug has two modest goals, to survive more than five years and to be moved by 25 cachers. As of 26-Jul-18 it had been circulating for 8.3 years, but it had been moved by only 22 cachers.
Please drop this item in rural OR Premium Member Only caches. Do not place it in an urban cache or abandon it at a caching event. Transport the bug in the original plastic bag for as long as the bag lasts; the bag keeps the trackable clean, protects the number and prevents tangling with other items. Otherwise, take the travel bug anywhere you wish. No permission is needed to leave the U.S.

Maritime Signal Flag Oscar. International code flags are used to signal between two ships or between ship and shore. They are a set of flags of different colors, shapes and markings which used singly or in combination have different meanings. The flags include 26 square flags which depict the letters of the alphabet, ten numeral pendants, one answering pendant, and three substituters or repeaters. There are 1- through 7-flag signals having standard meanings. This is the flag for the letter O. Used alone it means "Man overboard."
