Current Goal

This trackable has the modest goal to circulate more than five years and to be moved by at least 25 cachers.  That is a rate of five drops per year for five years, or a drop every 73 days.  As of 27-Jun-20 it had survived for 10.3 years and it had been moved by 42 cachers, for an average release every 90 days. How far can it get?  Keep it moving!

No permission is needed to leave the U.S.  While in the U.S., please drop it in a Premium Member only OR a rural cache near a busy trail or road. Do not place it in an urban cache or abandon it at a caching event where there is no security.  Transport the bug in the original plastic bag for as long as the bag lasts; the bag keeps the trackable clean, protects the number and prevents tangling with other items.  Otherwise, take the trackable anywhere you wish.

Trackable photos are appreciated and will be re-posted here.

About This Item

SignalFlagTangoBTB

Maritime Signal Flag Tango. International code flags are used to signal between two ships or between ship and shore. They are a set of flags of different colors, shapes and markings which used singly or in combination have different meanings. The flags include 26 square flags which depict the letters of the alphabet, ten numeral pendants, one answering pendant, and three substituters or repeaters. This is the flag for the letter T. When used alone it means “Keep clear of me, I am engaged—do not pass ahead of me." When displayed with four numerals, the local time. (The first two denote hours and the rest minutes.)

Grew up with boats and maritime flags. Rare to see much boating in arid Colorado so it is nice to share this TB and boating memories. Will keep it moving along. Thanks for sharing!
