The Cape Point Lighthouse is located at the most Southwestern extremity of the African Continent. It is immediately adjacent to the famous Cape of Good Hope or Cape of Storms in the Rep. of South Africa. It was built to help vessels navigate this difficult area between the Indian and Atlantic Oceans.
