Issaqueena falls is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The legend is that a young indian was escaping from angry tribe members who were upset regarding her interracial marriage with a white. She jumped off the cliff to escape. Thinking she was dead, and not wanting to investigate further due to a superstition regarding evil spirits and the falls, the tribe members left. Meanwhile, she had merely jumped to another tier and was able to hide behind the fall until the group had left.

The Issaqueena lies a few miles away from the Chattooga River, which is also the river where they filmed the movie Deliverance.

This is Philadelphia Alley in Charleston SC. This alley of "brotherly love" served as the primary location for duels. There were a LOT of deaths here, as dueling was very popular prior to the Civil War. Flashy was safe behind some cover!

At the Battery, facing White Point Gardens. White Point Gardens was the place of execution for several pirates and other ne'er do wells in colonial Charleston, including Stede Bonnet a sometimes partner of Edward Teach (Blackbeard-who held Charleston hostage for a week). Currently its a tourist haven citing the martial history of famous Charlestonians. In the foreground of the attached photo is a memorial to the hometown defenders of Ft. Sumter during the Civil War.
