"They call him Flipper, Flipper, faster than lightning, no-one you see, is smarter than he, and we know Flipper, lives in a world full of wonder, flying there-under, under the sea!" Now that you have the, "Flipper," theme song stuck in your head, that pretty much sums up what I want to do, swim the seas to see the world full of wonder.
The original flipper has met an untimely demise but thanks to the tomkinstravlers family, she's now new and improved and newly reattached to a beautiful rainbow dolphin, donated by their children.
Now that's what geocaching's all about, family we haven't even met yet. Thanks tomkinstravelers!! :)
I'm a pewter (now rainbow) dolphin and am very sociable... would love to have my picture taken and travel from cache to cache, "faster than lightning!" I'm not meant to be held captive. While thinking of Flipper, please take time to watch the video, "The Cove," (as featured on Oprah) regarding the inhumane slaughter of the bottlenose dolphin in Taiji, Japan. Whatever the trainers from all over the world don't want, get slaughtered and sold as high priced whale meat (high levels of mercury meat, at that) to the public and given to school children.
