Sunnyvale Fry's Electronics has the Apple I displayed inside the store. I've been told no photographs of inside the store are allowed.

Logging a visit to mark the location where the famous Traitorous Eight (the group who later found Fairchild Semiconductor and then Intel) first worked in the Silicon Valley.

  • Intel Founders First Worked Here The "Traitorous Eight" that left Shockley Semiconductor founded Fairchild Semiconductor, and later Intel. This is where they first worked together under a great theorist but a difficult boss, William Shockley.
  • Hewlett Packard "Garage" The garage is actually the very small building to the left of the house. Many credit this garage as the starting point of the Silicon Valley, although Shockley Semiconductor is just as important, if not more so.
