Well Thomas it took a few days to get here. This is not a rail ride to NYC... but this the best I could do for railroading. The town of Plant City, FL is named for Henry B. Plant. A 19th century Florida business pioneer, railroad tycoon, hotel mogul. I even went to the high school named for him in Tampa, FL. Unfortunately, this rail station museum was closed when I got here. Got some pics outside though.

  • Treed at the Rail station Historic Plant City, FL rail station. No passenger service here anymore. However, Amtrak does pass by on the east-west track. Just behind the station is a crossroads track that is still active for freight and Amtrak. Look close Thomas is in tree.
