Current Goal

I'm trying to get back to Keizer, Oregon. Keizer is a nice little town on the banks of the Willamette River. Keizer is next to the city of Salem, which is the states capital. Keizer is conveniently located 50 miles south of Portland, OR, along the I-5.

No big hurry so I can bounce around and be happy. Once I get to Keizer I would like to bounce around to as many caches in the local area as possible.

I would love to see pics of you or locations along the way to record my journey visually.

The journey begins in the DC Ranch neighborhood of Scottsdale, AZ. On November 1. Just for the record it was 90 degrees and sunny today.

About This Item

The keychain attached to this bug is the AZ state flag. I always thought it was a cool looking flag and a friend of mine from California commented that we use it on everything in Arizona - billboards, company logo's, fake license plats, etc. The star in the middle represent copper which is mined here. It is rising from a field of blue in the face of a setting sun. Well, my friend Anne from California, here's to your comment that started this one!

Found this in "B10: Get your hand out of the cookie jar!" (GC27MM9) and grabbed it to take on my holiday to the Maritimes. Unfortunately, nowhere near Arizona! I could re-place it in BC if you'd prefer.
