Current Goal

This is our son's first trackable and he is really excited to see where it goes. We picked this up on a stop in Jasper while travelling across Canada by train and released it near Toronto. Our son is train-mad and would like his little red caboose to travel the world, visiting and riding with as many trains as possible. Please post photos of Little Red Caboose with his new full-size (or smaller) friends.

Went to Zürich today on business - by train of course - and took the opportunity the take some pictures of the stations and trains you can see here in Switzerland.

  • German ICE on the way back to Basel I took a german ICE (Intercity Express). Its final destination is Hamburg. It takes eight and a half hours to get there (ca. 900 km)

  • french TGV departing from Basel TGV = Train a Grande Vitesse = high velocity train
  • TGV to Paris - Est this TGV goes to Paris Est (Paris has a lot of stations - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_railway_stations_in_Paris). It takes three and a half hours to get there (ca. 630 km) - pretty fast

Found this TB fwar away from any railroad. I shall take it to Switzerland, where there are lots of trains. I hope the owner is still interested.

Sorry it took me so long to drop this travel bug off but I have been trying to get it somewhere far away for several months. I will post and image that shows all the countries it has been to without successfully being dropped off for any variety of reasons including weather, lack of caches or me not being able to find it. Just in case the the image I post is not good, the countries that this little red caboose from jasper has been that you will not see its page are Indonesia, Cambodia, Democratic Republic of Congo, Haiti and finally it landed, officially, in Malawi.
