    I intended to leave BritishNomad at this event, but there was no good opportunity to get it a good next ride (or to exchange it at all, for that matter), so I brought it home, and will try to do something helpful with it.

    I came to the Isle of Lewis to compete in the Royal National Mòd, but managed some touring and geocaching while here. I brought BritishNomad along, and took his photo at the Standing Stones of Callanish. It was tough getting the photo, because it was the stormiest day of the year. Callanish is high and exposed, and the winds were over 50 mph. I stayed on my feet, though, and we saw this famous site.

    The reason we're in Hawaii is to watch our son compete in the Ironman Triathlon World Championship. We thought BritishNomad might enjoy watching, too. The photo shows him watching the start.

    We took BritishNomad with us on a volcano tour, and I think he had a good time. 😉 The photo shows him looking down over the Kilauea Caldera.
