Die Rückseite der Coin zeigt das Marine-Ehrenmal in Laboe das seit der Übernahme durch den Deutschen Marinebund im Mai 1954 an alle auf den Meeren gebliebenen Seeleute erinnert.

The back of the coin shows the navy memorial in Laboe which was founded after the acquisition through the German naval association and is meant to remember those mariners who lost their lives at sea.

Ein Coin zum Andenken an das Schlachtschiff Bismarck das im Mai 1941 im Atlantik versenkt wurde.1947 Seeleute fanden dabei in einem sinnlosen Krieg den Tod.

A coin in memory of the battleship Bismarck which was scuttled in the Atlantic in May 1941. 1947 mariners were killed in a futile war.
