This coin celebrates the 100th Anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America and showcases a few of Scouting’s Treasures: Cub Scouting, Boy Scouts and Venturing. Pass our coin on so others can enjoy logging them and learn about our program.
We would like this coin to find its way from Fort Collins, Colorado, to various Boy Scout sites across the US. If you are a Boy Scout, a Scout leader, or an interested youth or adult, please help us with this goal. Carry it with you on a trek through Philmont, on a float through Northern Tier, or on any other Boy Scouting adventure you may have. Be sure and log the adventures you and the coin had.
Before the coin returns to Fort Collins, the final destination should be the "Scout Salute!" (GC2HDCC) cache located at the Boy Scouts of America Headquarters in Irving, Texas. The coordinates are N 32o 53.187 W 096o 58.173 and the geocaching.com page for this cache is http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=43173438-e148-4892-80e2-244f5e29a00e.
Thank you for your help and enjoy the adventure!
