Where's George in Minnesota?

Travel to different parts of Minnesota via geocaches.

Hi, my name is George. I came from Minnesota in 1995 and have been away too long. I would now like to return. You can help by placing me in a geocache closer to Minnesota.

Once I get to Minnesota, I would like to visit my hometown of Minneapolis. If you can, take a picture of me at a well know place (the person who set me free really likes baseball). After that, I would like to see all parts of the state, the more places the better, North, South, East, and West. I have fond memories of St. Cloud and Red Wing, I wouldn't mind seeing those towns again. Pictures of my journey are always appreciated.

I am not a real dollar bill. My owner didn't want to lose me so he made a copy. To avoid trouble with the U.S. Treasury Department, I am significantly smaller than a real bill and lamenated. My serial number is blanked out on the image shown here but it is clearly visible on the bill attached to the travel bug. To keep everything on the up and up, Wild George has the original bill and will never put it into circulation so, for all practical purposes, I am the real one.

The bill has been entered at www.WheresGeorge.com. I use a copy of this same bill as my signiture token. I was very suprised when many people entered the number from the token as well. It was entered so many times that once it became the top geocaching bill with 20 hits it was rightly classified as a bill whose number is in a public place. Therefore, attempts to enter the serial number at wheresgeorge.com will fail. Oh well, live and learn...
