Very nice to find this coin quite exactly one year after I was in San Diego (March 05/06, 2006). I actually worked in San Francisco for about 9 months and had two friends from Berlin visiting in March. As I got some time off, we did a beautiful road trip to Monterey, Big Sur, Hollywood / Los Angeles, San Diego, Phoenix, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Death Valley and back to San Francisco!
We spent two days in San Diego and really enjoyed it. Lots of things to see there, and beautiful weather. We even went swimming in the freezing cold ocean - just had to try the Pacific water! We also went on the rollercoaster in Mission beach, and had a good time going out in the evening too. Some friends who live there took us to a great restaurant in Pacific Beach (don't remember the name though).
Hope I'll get back there one day... in the meantime, I'll try to bring this great geocoin to some interesting locations! Is it ok to move it to a different continent?
