To spread awareness about Breast and Pancreatic Cancer.
In 2005 my wife lost her mother to Breast Cancer and in 2008 lost her dad to Pancreatic Cancer. After learning about Geocaching, we thought it would be a good way to spread awareness and to remember them by. "Born To Be Wild" was Linda's requested song to be played at her funeral and is now the name of our team that participates in the Komen Breast Cancer Walk in Baltimore, MD. Since Dave was a Star Wars fan, we named our racing team "Pancan Jedi" that participates in the PurpleStride Maryland.
