To boldly go where no caching stick has gone before: Behold, the Traveling 2 Cent Walking Stick! This coin plans on helping the Traveling 2 Cent Walking Stick log some miles and make some friends.
The DishNinja girls have been puttin' their two cents into geocaching since March 15, 2010 and they have a custom walking stick to prove it. The fondly named "pokey stick" was collected from a forgotten forest track during their first week of caching and has been traveling with them ever since. Dish, the consumate tinkerer fitted the stick with a strap, an adjustable tip that can hold a magnet, a hook, a metal prod, or a rubber tip, depending on the needs at hand. It has a collection ring for discovered pathtags, a spare bison tube for bison tube type emergencies...and now it has its own discoverable traveling two cent geocoin.
If you meet up with the DishNInja team on the trail, make sure you log their walking stick: it's a veteran cacher, too!
