Am 1. Januar 2002 wurde der Euro als Einheitswährung in 22 europäischen Staaten eingeführt und gilt damit als wichtiger Schritt für ein vereintes Europa. Zumindest beim Reisen entfällt das vormals lästige Umtauschen.
Die bunten Scheine werden auf Wunsch unseres Mini-Cachers in Umlauf gebracht.

On January 1st 2002 the EURO was established as common currency for 22 european countries and is considered as an important step for a united Europe. At least formerly annoying currency-change during traveling felt away.
The coloured paper money is passed on our Mini-Cachers´s demand.

Leider ist dieser Coin nicht in der Dose. Ich hoffe schwer, dass dieser nicht auch in falsche Hände gekommen ist. Hoffentlich taucht er bald wieder auf.

Hmmm. Eigentlich sind wir ja strenggenommen kein Euro-Land, auch wenn wir die Scheine von der Touristen gerne annehmen. Ich nehm dich mal mit, vielleicht findet sich ein Cache in einem Kurort, wo dich dann jemand wieder zurück in die EU bringen kann.
