Current Goal

This geocoin is a symbol that I am a Goddess woman. Activated under the full Blue Moon on New Year's Eve. I'm not going to dip it in every cache I visit; I started out doing that and it made too much clutter in my log. I'll dip it in caches that are most meaningful to me.

About This Item

Lady of the Moon Coin

The Moon goes from Dark to Waxing to Full to Waning over a 28 day period. This coin depicts a Waning Crescent. In a calendar year, there are thirteen lunar cycles. When two Full Moons fall in the same calendar month, the second is called the Blue Moon. In Earth-based spirituality, the Moon is a symbol of the Goddess, representing feminine aspects of the Divine. The Waning Crescent is the symbol of the Crone, the wise elder woman. Age comes by itself. I'm working on the wisdom part.

Dipped and retrieved my personal geocoin to make note of the first woodland cache I found. Compared to all those urban micros, this was a rare treat!

Dipping my coin in caches just to track my travels is a lot more trouble than I thought it would be. It inflates the number of logs on my/your finds page to the point that I loose track of the narrative. What I really want is to be able to turn my logs into a map, showing both the finds and the DNFs. Regardless of the outcome, I did go there.

I travel in such circles, anyway, going for the cache that strikes my fancy at the moment.
