    I've had this bug for a while and have tried in vain to get it to Iowa...in fact, I haven't been able to get it anywhere recently. I decided to take it for a couple of walks this past weekend. Sorry for the delay in logging some activity...it's getting warmer now and I'll be able to travel more soon. Aloha

    (oops...my son was still logged on...this was first on his name but I was the one who foud it...yikes!)

    Found a TB tag w/ nothing attached to it but a wadded up piece of paper with a note on it: "This is BigIsland to Iowa. Started in HI, please move closer to IA. TB #...... 10/12/04"

    How sad is that?! Lucky for the bug I came across it. I just happen to be Hawaiian, so I'll fix um up good bruddah! Aloha!

    Picked it up this afternoon at 2:50PM Central Time. Found 2 TBs today. Found Big Island 2 Iowa in I'm Hooked GCE17A, and found Chewbaca (442149) in X Marks the Spot GCG5YF. Will try to get Big Island at least a little farther west on its way to IA. Only have the tag for Big Island...hope there wasn't supposed to be anything attached to it.

    Took the TB from Vapor Trail (GCJMPR) a few weeks ago. I've been a bit behind ALL of my paperwork lately. I put it in "I'm Hooked" by SpongeRob (GCE17A). I wanted to get it closer to Iowa, but work didn't let me. I went to PA since I retrieved the TB, but that's the wrong way. Good luck to RogofLap. BigIsland2Iowa is getting close. Oh, I took off the roller blade keychain and put it about 14 inches to the left and in front of the cache container. It's under some camouflage, so it's well hidden. The key chain was way too big for the container.

    Great News!! This travel bug was lost several months ago b ut I found it yesterday. part of the reason it was lost is, there was no figurine or anything to keep track of - the dog-tag and chain got stuck in the bottom of one of the man pockets of a big organizer I have and don't use veyr often. the bigger reason i missplaced it is, I am a dissorganized idiot and occasionally lose stuff. but, be that as it may, I have it again and will get something to attach to it and leave it in a cache very soon before something else happens to it!!

    Really bad news here about BigIsland2Iowa; I packed it to take with me to Arizona but when I got there I couldn't find it.
    It is possible the airport screeners took it or dropped it as they went through my bags quite thoroughly. It is also possible it is still in one of the many pockets of my suit bag. I hope to find it and place it in a worthy location eventually but for now big island is MIA.
