Current Goal

My mission is to head to Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. The cache is titled "Parque Lage". (GC1N703) - (S 22° 57.494 W 043° 12.608) This cache is located at the beginning of the trail to Corcovado Hill where you will find the Christ the Redeemer Monument. This awesome place is on my dad's bucket list of places to see. Please get a picture of the Christ the Redeemer monument before heading home. I must get a picture and head back to Georgia. I am a part of a race between 3 brothers to see who can get to his favorite spot, grab a picture and head back home. My competition is TB31WHJ and TB31WJ7. Eu tenho saudades por Rio de Janeiro. I wished I still had a way to take this one to the Corcavado myself. Lived in Rio de Janeiro from 1967-1972 on Epitacio Pesoa and could see the Corcovado from my bedroom window. As a young man in his twenties it was "ta legal" "foi ochimo". Still retain very fond memories of places and friends in and around the area. I certainly hope that you find your way to your goal and back again. You surely have my best wishes to speed you on your way and have a "cafezinho" for me while your there. Ate alogo.
