Bob made his start in Sacramento California. He met two sisters that were totally fun and they all became very close friends. They told him stories of a brother they had on the east coast in Bath, Maine. Bob felt compelled to get to Maine to meet and ONLY visit this brother named "Ed".
Update****Ed has moved to San Deigo, California (how's that for a nice switch in weather conditions????) Anyway, Bob's new mission is to get to San Deigo to find "Brother Ed"
And "Thank You" to everyone who has had contact with Bob and made sure he got on his way. He sure has some miles under his square pants!!!
Update****** Thanks to Falcon Four, Bob took a quick flight to California via the US Postal Service to finally get to meet Brother Ed, which he had heard so much about. After a 3 week vacation in Southern California, Bob WILL be reunited with his owner, AM2 after traveling some 27,845 miles all around the world!!!!!!
Bob's a fun guy, a real party sponge! He loves to laugh and have a good time.
He can be a bit of a Chatty Cathy, so beware. He has a vocabulary of about five sentences. Sometimes you have to push him around to get him to talk. But once you get him going, watch out.
You never have to worry about Bob, he'll always be alright. Sometimes he needs a little help, but not often. And when you hear him going off with strange noises, it's nothing to do with country music. He hates that stuff!
Oh, and by the way.....he loves jelly fishing!

Bob has finally made it home for a much needed rest and visit. He will venture out again at some point.
I'd like to THANK everyone, who has come into contact with Bob from his beginnnings, for maintaining the spirit of the game and for keeping him save and dry and moving him along his way during his travels. He has an impressive little track record, heck...he's been more places than I have.

Dear AM2,
I have traveled near and far (quite far). Now that my mission is complete and I have reached Brother Ed. I can't wait to see you this weekend to talk to you of my travels. The day, Brother Ed opened my travelope, I know that my journeys around the world was all for a reason. Brother Ed and I hit it right off and haven't stopped yet. You must have known something that day you sent me out, that Brother Ed is a squarepants kind of guy and we would get along so well. I want to thank all who are out there that helped me on my way. Without you I would not be where I am today. There is so much to see, that in just the few weeks here, I know that San Diego is the place I want to park my squarepants for awhile. Do some surfing and laying out in the Southern California sun. I know you will understand when I say SOCAL is where I want to be. You are more than welcome to visit us anytime and I can come up to you to visit you also. Look forward to seeing you this weekend.

I would like to thank "Falcon Four" for assisting in getting Bob back to California in time to VISIT my brother Ed for Christmas. I will be visiting San Diego this weekend and look forward to bringing Bob home, after all his long travels all over the world. He now has over 30 thousand miles under his square pants. I'll clean him up, feed him and get him ready for his next adventures.
I'd also like to thank everyone else who took him in and showed him a good time, then sent him on his way. Most travel bugs aren't as lucky as Bob has been with everyone looking after him!

We found Bob in a cache in Springfield, Ohio. When I got back home to log the TB I realized that we already had him in July. He just can't seem to get out of Ohio! I'll try and find someone who is heading to CA or at least out of Ohio towards the west.
