I found this ring in an ammo can in the woods. No doubt the design is inspired by an amoeba. I did some research on amoebas and the most interesting facts I discovered are:
1. They are single-celled organisms.
2. They consume food by absorbing it.
3. They change their shape.
An excerpt from one article I read:
“If you observe their lifestyle you will find that amoebas are really sophisticated.”
So don’t underestimate the amoeba, and be grateful they rarely exceed 5 millimeters in size.
