The original goal for this trackable was to make it to Florida so we could collect it in October 2010! Sadly it only made it as far as Scotland.
We are now being far less specific and would like it to travel the world visiting as many caches as possible.
Named in honour of the first astronauts (Mercury 7) and because on our first family trip to Florida we had such a wonderful trip to NASA. The skies, space and planets are such a wonder! One of our son's school motos is "Do not tell us the skys the limit when there are footprints on the moon" and people who complete these missions have made that type of thinking possible. We salute them all.
