Current Goal

Hello, I am CHIEF FIRE WATER I would like to visit lots of Fire Departments in our great country. And just maybe some day arrive at a NYCFD station that was present at the World Trade Centers to serve and protect on 911.

About This Item

geocache 8 010.jpg

My current home fire station is in Poquoson, Va. Some day after traveling around the country and world I would like very much to return home. To check on my fellow firefighters at station #1 and #2 who helped me along during my early rookie years as a firefighter.

I found this in "Sturbridge Videoventure" (GCVR74), and incredible new caching concept. Not sure if Odragon or the CO placed it? At any rate, I'll move it along, hopefully to PA since it hasn't been checked off the list of states yet.

Hope to bring right to the doorstep of WTC and firehouse right next door.

  • On Engine 10 Firetruck Here I am resting on one of the Engine 10 firetrucks. The company is famously known as "Tenhouse".

The public is generally not allowed into the firehouse. However, after explaining the quest, one of the firemen allowed us inside for a few quick pictures...
  • Inside the firehouse Made it to NYC and Ground Zero! Here I am near one of the Engine 10 firetrucks.
  • Outside the firehouse Made it to NYC and Ground zero! Here I am outside the famous Engine 10 firehouse.
  • 9/11 Memorial Outside the firehouse near the 9/11 memorial to the firemen lost.
  • Helping serve On the 9/11 memorial with my fellow firemen
  • In the line of duty May we never forget.
  • Tenhouse heroes
  • Ground Zero The construction area is where ground zero is. The photographer (one of the GreenGuydes) office building that Tenhouse protects is just to the left of Chief Fire Water.
