PilgrimBug is on a journey of discovery. It would like to visit sites of transcendent significance. Those sites can be associated with a religion or not.

About This Item

Pilgrim's desire is to drink in places of great import for the geocacher who finds it and to build a log of such places. If there is not a cache near such a place, then take the bug there and make a picture. Include in the log, if you choose some word of wisdom from the tradition of the place you visit.

Pilgrim would love to go overseas and visit Canterbury England, The Vatican, Mecca, The River Ganges, Tibet, Machu Pichu, Incan Ruins, Africa (especially Kenya), to enjoy the wonders of what you the geocacher finds uplifting and significant.

    I'd hung onto this bug long enough. Today I hunted for a cache that had many, many, many caches that should have been found as part of the puzzle.

    I'd put in time studying... and actually was within a quarter mile of it last fall - on my birthday, even - but ran out of daylight. I'd heard of people who seek and find caches without coordinates. Now I'm one of them. 😁

    It's a great spot, too, one I feel a personal, spiritual connection with. I hope someone else finds it soon, again, to move on this special bug from this very special place and very special, carefully, elaborately and lovingly planned cache series and final location.

    In town for Wartburg Family Weekend and decided to do a few caches. I see it hasn't made it to South Dakota so I'll take it back with me.
