Since we couldn't take this coin all the way to Paris ourselves, we thought we'd leave it at a travelbug hotel in Ontario's mini Eiffel Tower, hoping that someone else will find it and be able to take it to the real thing (or at least get it closer)! Bon Voyage, little coin, we'll be following your travels!

  • Ontario's Eiffel Tower A roadside attraction in front of Sunshine Restaurant near Straffordville, ON. This it's the location of the first TB Hotel at found, and the cache that really got us in to geocaching (we joined in 2015 after an accidental find but only did 1 other cache until we found this one on 22 May 202).
  • GeoCoin at Ontario's Eiffel Tower Hopefully this will be a good stop on the way to the real thing. Bon Voyage, little coin! Meilleurs Vœux!

As the only physical cache we found this weekend was a micro, the issue of whether or not to drop trackables was moot, and this coin has come back to Cambridge with us. On the way home it visited Canada's first municipal GeoHeritage Park with us!

We were in Ottawa this weekend for Football Canada's "Women's Football Weekend" and we brought our cache bag with us. We had less opportunity for geocaching than anticipated but we managed to squeeze in a caching visit to Prince of Wales Falls (more commonly called Hog's Back Falls) just before heading to the Red vs White Game at nearby Carleton University-- the last step in the selection process for our Sr. Women's National Team. The successful candidates will make up Team Canada at the IFAF Women's World Championship in Finland this July.

This is a belated log, but it's something that came up with another trackable that we found in a different place from where it was listed and it seemed relevant for this coin too!

We're logging a dip at the cache where we found this, so that the cache it was in will be added to its map. It's still safe and sound with us and we hope to move it along soon!

We found this in CG37AR8-- a different cache than it was last seen in, but not far away. Both are located on the Little Tract. We were excited to have found it and although we won't be able to take it across the ocean, we will continue its journey soon.
